A.B.R.AC.A. is French for l'Association Belge Regroupant les Auteur·ice·s Créateur·ice·s de l’Animation. It means Belgian association gathering authors and creators of animation.

Our main goal is to protect the interests of the authors and professionals and students of the animation industry, including :

  • writers
  • Designers
  • Animators
  • Directors

We regularly organize gatherings to tighten our community and to strengthen our network and professional mutual aid. 

Our mission is :

  • to promote the art of animation with the institutions, schools, nationals councils etc. 
  • Communicate about the reality of our trades in order to improve general labor conditions and their ensuing social impact.

Different ways to keep in touch with us :

  • Stay tuned with the newsletter. We promise to be discreet and only send you strictly important news such as the agenda of the community (info sessions, parties, etc.) or our gained improvement with institutions and such.
  • Give power to our community and become a member of ABRACA because there is power in number.
  • Become an active member and join our task forces. Any help is welcome and you’ll sure be super useful with teams working on

  • Promouvoir l’animation auprès des institutions, écoles, etc. 
  • Faire connaître la réalité du métier afin d’améliorer les conditions socioprofessionnelles.

Ons hoofddoel is het beschermen van de belangen van de auteurs en professionals en studenten van de animatiefilm-industrie, met inbegrip van :

  • schrijvers
  • Ontwerpers
  • Animatoren
  • Regisseurs

We organiseren regelmatig bijeenkomsten om onze gemeenschap en ons netwerk te versterken en om professionele wederzijdse hulp aan te bieden.

Onze missie is :

  • De kunstvorm animatie promoten bij instellingen, scholen, nationale raden enz.
  • Communiceren over de realiteit van onze beroepen om de algemene arbeidsomstandigheden en de daaruit voortvloeiende sociale impact te verbeteren.

Verschillende manieren om met ons in contact te blijven:

  • Blijf op de hoogte via de nieuwsbrief. We beloven discreet te zijn en je alleen belangrijk nieuws te sturen, zoals de agenda van de vereniging (infosessies, feestjes, enz.) of de verbeteringen die we hebben bereikt bij instellingen en dergelijke.
  • Geef macht aan onze gemeenschap en word lid van ABRACA, want vele kleintjes maken groots.
  • Word een actief lid en neem deel aan onze taakgroepen. Alle hulp is welkom en je zult zeker super nuttig zijn bij een van de teams die werken aan
